Leader of the Pack: Andrea Garza Andrea was a member of 4-H from 1990-1999 and a member of FFA from 1996-2001. She has been around all types of animals since early childhood, running around the farm with her herd of sheep, cows, pigs, dogs, cats, birds, and almost any other farm animal you can think of. She concentrated in studying animal behavior, body language, and just understanding why animals do what they do. Andrea is the owner of Tri State Pet Care, and ran all the pet sitting visits for the first several years. Currently, Andrea concentrates on kennels, private doggy suites, and our doggy day camp.
Right Paw: Jill Davis Jill Davis joined the Tri State Pet Care LLC group in 2007. She started as a part time sitter, while she was a stay at home mother. Now that her two children are in school full time, Jill has started to work full time offering in home services. From new client meetings, to scheduling, administrative duties and knowing all our clients, she is an invaluable member of our team. Jill concentrates on our daily and Martinsburg area clients, but don’t be surprised if she’s in your neighborhood, because she does it all. Member since 2010: Rebecca Vandyke
Rebecca joined Tri State Pet Care during the summer of 2010. In January of 2011, Rebecca joined our daily visit team. She will be providing visits in Bakerton, Shepherstown, and Harpers Ferry. She lives in a home with many of her own dogs, as well as rescue dogs. She volunteers with D.A.R.E., a Doberman Rescue league, and also volunteers with Happy Whiskers, the Jefferson County animal control rescue. Rebecca has grown up with animals all her life. Member since 2003: Amy Garza My sister Amy has been a member of our team for several years. She also was a member of 4H and FFA. She is currently working on her degree at Shepherd University. She provides care to our large animal clients, offering shearing and hoof trimming to goats and sheep. You will also see Amy around the farm helping with overnight accommodations and working with our dogs in the Doggy Day Camp.
Member since 2007: John Michael John is a full time teacher at CW Shipley Elementary. John works summers and concentrates on our Shepherdstown clients. He will also fill in on holidays when needed. He has been a stable and dependable member of our team. His pack consists of one cat.
Member Since 2003: Alicia Garza My sister Alicia is a stay at home mother and a licensed beautician. She was in 4H and FFA for many years. She offers baths and nail trims to our on-site clients. Alicia concentrates on doggy day camp and kennels. She will also do in home visits from time to time if needed.
Shane Hovatter, Andrea's fiancé, plays an active roll with the pets while they visit the farm. You may see him while you drop off or pick them up. The pets really enjoy his company!
